From a distant galaxy, the Grafton Monster was an extraterrestrial being who could not withstand Earth's environment. Gray-ish-white in color, its blobby nature was not typical—but a response to the organism's incompatibility with Earth's atmosphere and allergens. Swelling up, it progressively solidified, perishing within 24 hours of its arrival. It is not known what this being looks like normally, but an artistic imagining with reduced swelling has been provided. Recovery and study of the corpse have revealed information on feeding, composition, bodily operations, and hints about its homeworld.
